Australian Sandalwood by Attar Bazaar is 100% natural steam distilled essential oil. This pure sandal oil (Santalam Spicatum) is extremely raw, woody and earthy. It is also incredibly smooth, creamy, and herbal. As one of our best sellers you can be confident you'll love Australian Sandalwood. It makes a great substitute for its more expensive cousin, Mysore Sandalwood Santalum Album!
By comparison Arabian Sandalwood (also a best seller) is creamy with vanilla notes. Egyptian Sandalwood and Tunisian Sandalwood are cool, bright, citrus-y sandalwoods. Moroccan Sandalwood has spicy notes of cinnamon as well as very faint powdery notes. Mysore Sandalwood is all natural, extremely rare, incredibly smoky and very woody. All are special in their own ways. Sandalwood lovers will love exploring our range of sandalwoods.
As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted. Do not take internally. Keep away from children. If applying an essential oil to your skin always perform a small patch test to an insensitive part of the body.

I am in the process of creating my own cologne and this Australian Sandalwood is one of the best scents my nose has ever met. Each whiff packs a crisp, woodsy-citrus accent that lingers in a way that hooks you back for more. I took a hefty whiff before writing this review. The song that comes to mind when I smell this: I Like It by DeBarge (playing that right now). Thank you.

I love this fragrance! I put it on in the morning and forget that I have it on because it’s such a subtle scent, but I am complemented throughout the day. It is such an incredible fragrance. It’s clean and light, but yet very warm and Sunny. My favorite!

I loved how this oil paired with the pearl musk oil I purchased. It was a perfect balance of masculine and feminine and people always ask me what I'm wearing as they come in close to smell my skin. It's THAT intoxicating!!!!!

They were kind enough to give me a sample and it's the closest I've come to the mysore that was available when I was young (55 now). Really great.

Exotic & long lasting...
This Australian sandalwood is the best sandalwood oil I've ever worn, so far. It's woodsy, earthy, slightly smoky, and is very long lasting. I can actually still smell it on me the following day. This oil goes well with cooler temperatures. I recommend Tunisian sandalwood for warmer weather...of course you can enjoy them both all year round if you like.
It says in the description to dilute it, but I don't. It goes from the bottle to my skin with no problem.
