Egyptian Sandalwood
Egyptian Sandalwood by Attar Bazaar is a magnificently bright sandalwood. It is clean, soft, sweet, citrus-y, and creamy. These all create a depth to the scent that intrigues the mind. Captures the essence of ancient Cairo, the souk, plodding camels, thrones of gold.
A close cousin is our Tunisian Sandalwood which has many of the same characteristics as our Egyptian Sandalwood but the Tunisian Sandalwood hits higher brighter notes while the Egyptian Sandalwood is duskier. If you love one, you'll love the other.
By comparison Arabian Sandalwood (best seller) is creamy with vanilla notes. Moroccan Sandalwood has spicy notes of cinnamon as well as very faint powdery notes. Australian Sandalwood (also a best seller) is all natural, smooth, creamy, and herbal. Mysore Sandalwood is all natural, extremely rare, incredibly smoky and very woody. It smells so unique and beautiful, I have not smelled this sort of sandalwood before, certainly not what I’ve ever experienced before. The delivery to the UK was shockingly, and I mean, shockingly quick, took like a week. Attar bazaar attar is literally the best quality perfume I’ve ever experienced. The owner of the shop is very decent and kind also, very pleasant lovely character and I’m well pleased
I've loved Attar oils for 30 years. Egyptian musk is an absolute favorite but tjis roll on Sandlewood is lovely. Thank you again for the samples too. Egyptian Sandlewood is earthy and soft and as as a roller, excellent!
It was very " CITRUS" SMELLING, rather than Sandalwood, and DID NOT smell like Sandalwood at all....... VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️!

I have several dif sandalwood fragrances. It's smoky & earthy. This one I would say has med fragrance without being too strong. This fragrance lasts all day.
I haven't worn this egyptian sandalwood, yet. From the bottle, it seems a little weak, however, once I apply it, perhaps it will project better on skin/clothes.
Love my Egyptian sandalwood. I have worn this scent since a trip to Egypt in 1980, and your product is very much like the sandalwood I purchased there. Love it!

Arabian and Egyptian sandalwoods are favorites. It takes awhile to settle on favorites with all of your great fragrances. I’m getting there but not necessarily rigid …. have to keep an open mind.
Although I gave the product 5 stars, I thought it might come with a roller ball, as it was pictured on line. That would make application easier. It would also help if consumers could opt out of receiving samples. I would rather not receive them as I seldom use them. They typically end up in the trash and I don't feel good about that.
So happy to have found a company that creates exactly what I’ve been searching for. It’s been over 2 decades since I’ve worn such rich scents.

The Egyptian sandalwood has a wonderful scent, soft and inviting. I have used it for years.
I love this scent but I’m having trouble with the roller bottle. The oil is not coming out like it should.

Smells wonderful. Less thicker compared to Arabian Sandalwood, but has this has it's own unique smell which I love.

I adore the Egyptian Sandalwood. I first had the fragrance on a visit to Egypt in 1984, the this is exactly the fragrance I remember - love it!
This is an intriguing sandalwood. It has a lasting tail that is both creamy and woody. The dry down stays long and neither overbearing or overwhelming. You are aware of it, but only at certain moments. It's also has a clean side to it that is very pleasing and engaging.
Bottles are smaller than I thought they would be.
Another warm, but light scent! It started off with a lemon/citrus layer. As the day went on the warmth of the sandalwood came though. Almost had a vanilla and musk scent - although ever so subtle. Lovely !
My husband really like Egyptian Sandalwood and this meets his approval. I was able to get unscented bubble bath and the Sandalwood was added. Now he has his bubble bath with the fragrance that has been added and enjoy a nice long soak. He is a very happy man.
