Indian Patchouli - Essential Oil
Indian Patchouli by Attar Bazaar is a 100% natural steam distilled essential oil. This scent we found used at the shrines of the famous saints of India and is by far the best Patchouli Essential Oil we have come across. Gives sensation of being bathed in light and glory.
In comparison to our Tunisian Patchouli, this one is lighter, brighter and sharper, while the Tunisian Patchouli is deeper, darker, and smoother. Both have a lot to offer and Patchouli lovers will fall in love with both.
Patchouli is a highly aromatic plant that belongs to the mint family. The scent of patchouli is often described as earthy, woody, and musky, with hints of sweetness and spice. It's distinct aroma can be quite polarizing, with some people finding it alluring and others finding it overwhelming!
Patchouli Essential Oil is derived from the leaves of the patchouli plant through a process of steam distillation. The resulting product has a dark amber or brownish color and a thick, viscous consistency.

Really nice, earthy patchouli.
I have ordered essential oils from other places but this one is incredible....very very good .I'll be buying more in other scents .to tell the truth I've just ordered the French rose
I've loved this fragrance for decades. So I was delighted to find it available in a roll-on applicator. There was a problem with the applicator however. So I wrote an email to Attar Bazaar on a Saturday. I received a response within 5 minutes advising me that they would take care of the problem. What great customer service!
Doing a laundry hack with the best smelling patchouli available: Keeping a bottle by the dryer and adding a dot to a dryer ball before loading towels and darker cloths. Room and cloths smell amazing!

It was a sheer delight recieving the little box with exotic tissue wrapped around a beautiful little velvet draw string baglet containing the dram of Patchouli. Best of all after I applied the scent to my body I had to fend off the women with a stick !

It smells real nice but the scent doesn't last like most essential oils do. I love getting the 4 samples and they all smell great. I'll probably try some of those in the future. I'm going to try some of their other patchouli oils since they have them from different countries. I'm hoping one will be my favorite and the scent will last.

It's a linear patchouli. I would blend it with rose, lavender, vetiver, cistus, cedarwood, and/or lime.

This is really a beautiful patch. Super earthy slightly damp and very rich. I think it will last me a long time because the tiny dab lasts all day. For a really sexy scent I layer it with a traditional Indian rose oil from Ray at Durga interiors in Vancouver. For the scent alone, this patchouly gets five stars from me, but because the roller ball does not stay in, I took one star off.

I really like these new roll-ons with the steel balls! Don't know how many times over the years I've spilled a dram of fine attar. This batch of Indian Patchouli is particularly nice. It's darker and a bit spicier. Sometime it would be nice to have aged patchouli. Just a thought. THANKS!

Write a review..... ok, how does one express the joy felt after receiving my order of essential oils ?? After using them for about 15/20 years I will never ever purchase other oils. My personal scent has been the mixture of two oils which calm and relax me throughout the day... I know when I forget to use them and so does everyone around me. When I taught high school art my students loved coming to my room .... the scent helped them to calm down and relax... I wish I had a nickel for every time some one asked me what I was wearing..... that's how wonderful the essential oils are. And I carry cards with me so when asked I can spread the wealth.....smiles !!!

My favorite of the two patchouli oils..
I have used patchouli oil for 51 years. I love the settle fragrance of Indian Patchouli, l just need to adjust the amount l use as it doesn't last as long as my previous oil. I will continue to use and reorder when needed.

Heard this was the best patchouli around. Looking to create a matchless fragrance with patchouli and sandalwood. Don’t know if these amazing Arabian sandalwood and Indian patchouli mixed will do the trick if I mix them together 🤞 Need expert advice from you !! Do I need another oil to make it perfect? This is the 3rd I'm trying. The scent is 'woody'. Too heavy for what I'm doing. Strong but not overpowering. It doesn't project or seem to scent the air. Received others as samples. They are very thick in density - not for my body - for the fragrance in a room. Room is small and scent doesn't carry.
